During my time at Sierra College, I\ufe0f was a part of their journalism and radio department. I\ufe0f created a podcast called the <a href=\"https:\/\/thecespodcast.com\/\">Collective Experiences Society<\/a> with a fellow student.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I graduated with an associate&#8217;s degree in journalism from Sierra College.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\ufe0f, then, transferred to San Francisco State to continue my education. I was <a href=\"https:\/\/journalism.sfsu.edu\/\">San Francisco State\u2019s Journalism department<\/a>\u2019s communications assistant and <a href=\"https:\/\/goldengatexpress.org\/\">Golden Gate Xpress<\/a>\u2019s engagement editor during my time there.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\ufe0f finished my education at Arizona State University with a bachelor&#8217;s degree in Digital Media Literacy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>I was hired as a reporter for <a href=\"https:\/\/goldcountrymedia.com\/\">Gold Country Media<\/a> the same week I graduated from college. I am in charge of the Lincoln and Rocklin beat.<\/p><p>As I dive into my professional career, I have fallen in love with investigative reporting.\u00a0<\/p><p>In May 2024, I won my first California News Publishers Association award.
